Built on Belief in Second Chances
N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. is being built on a simple conviction: that recovery is possible for anyone — and that safe, stable housing is the foundation it requires.
Our Founding
How N.E.S.T. Came to Be
N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. — Nurturing Environment for Sobriety and Transformation — grew out of a recognized gap in Montgomery County's recovery ecosystem. Drug Court participants were completing treatment programs and making real progress — but returning to unstable housing situations that undermined everything they had worked for.
A group of community members, recovery advocates, and Drug Court stakeholders came together with a shared belief: that the path to lasting sobriety requires more than willpower. It requires a safe place to sleep, a structured environment, and a community of people who understand the journey.
N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. is currently working toward formal organization. We are recruiting a board of directors to file with the Texas Secretary of State and establish the legal foundation needed to serve our community. Our goal is to fill that gap — partnering directly with the Montgomery County Drug Court to provide sober living as an integrated part of the recovery process.

The mission of N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. is to provide more than a place to live — we envision a place to begin again. We are working to create a nurturing environment where individuals recovering from substance use disorders are equipped with the safety, support, accountability, and opportunities needed to transform their lives. Our purpose is to help every future resident leave stronger than they arrived, prepared to live with integrity, serve their community, and build a future defined not by their past, but by their potential.

A Vital Partnership
Our Partnership with Montgomery County Drug Court
N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. is being developed in partnership with the Montgomery County Drug Court — a specialized court program designed to divert individuals with substance use disorders away from incarceration and toward structured recovery.
When launched, Drug Court participants who need stable housing will be referred to N.E.S.T. Housing Inc. as part of their court-supervised recovery plan. This integration will mean residents have both the structure of the court program and the stability of a supportive home environment working together.
This partnership is central to who we are. We are not a standalone housing provider — we are a recovery community being built around the Drug Court model, designed to complement and strengthen the work the court is already doing.

Leadership Team
Executive Director
Our founding leadership brings experience in recovery services and community development in Montgomery County, and is actively building the organizational infrastructure to launch N.E.S.T.
Program Staff
House Managers & Support
When the program launches, house managers will live and work alongside residents, providing day-to-day structure, accountability, and encouragement. We are currently recruiting qualified staff.
